Not necessarily. If it runs on Next.js, we switch the queries from Contentful to GROQ and the design stays. Otherwise we rebuild it on Next.js.
Hardly at all. The migration runs by script and is repeatable. You keep working in Contentful until just before the switch, then we carry over the latest state.
Sanity stores content as structured data rather than finished pages. The same content feeds your website, app, newsletter or intranet. On top: a fully customisable Studio, real-time collaboration, versions, scheduled publishing and, on the Enterprise plan, single sign-on and custom roles.
Yes. Sanity has its own MCP server and Agent Actions, through which Claude, ChatGPT or your own agents read, create and translate content. We set it up so agents create drafts and your team approves them.
We first model the content types in Sanity, then scripts transfer all content, images, references and language versions. Rich text becomes Portable Text. Every run is repeatable, so the latest state is carried over cleanly just before the switch.
We carry over metadata and copy, set up a 301 redirect for every old address and submit the new sitemap in Search Console. The new website on Next.js usually loads much faster than before.
Yes. In Sanity's Presentation view, editors click a text on the website and land straight in the right field. Changes show up in the preview as they type.
It depends on the amount of content, languages, integrations and how far the Studio is customised. After a free strategy call you get a fixed-price offer with a timeline. The Sanity licence runs through your own contract with Sanity.
